Types of tiling projects to be carried out via ArtiBox

The profession of tiler includes a variety of interventions, whether for individuals or in professional projects. Here are the main types of missions you can access:

Interior tile installation

Interior tile coverings are ubiquitous in homes and public buildings. Whether it is ceramic tiles, wood imitation, or natural stone, each project requires precision and adaptability.

• Floor coverings in living areas, hallways, lobbies
• Installation in wet areas: kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms
• Tiles on underfloor heating, requiring a suitable adhesive choice

Contractors expect impeccable finishing, quick installation, and long-lasting results.

Wall tile installation

This type of intervention requires a true mastery of plumb and alignment, as wall tiles are very visible on a daily basis.

• Tiles in bathrooms or kitchens
• Specific wall decorations (niches, mosaics...)
• Cladding for Italian showers or backsplashes

Projects often include complex details such as rounded corners, fine joints, or diagonal cuts.

Outdoor tiling

Experienced tilers in outdoor work are highly sought after for their ability to ensure durability despite weather conditions.

• Terraces, pool surrounds, outdoor stairs
• Tiles on pedestals or on draining screeds
• Anti-slip treatments and frost resistance

Each intervention must comply with slope, water drainage, and safety constraints.

Renovation and removal of old tiles

These projects often require special attention to existing supports to avoid any issues with adhesion or future cracking.

• Cautious removal without damaging the support
• Installation over old tiles with suitable primers or leveling compounds
• Management of thresholds, baseboards, and technical connections

Contractors appreciate professionals who can anticipate unforeseen events and propose concrete solutions.

Work efficiently with other trades

On most construction sites, the tiler works directly with other participants: plumbers, electricians, plasterers, heating engineers...

ArtiBox facilitates this coordination by providing you access to a detailed project sheet, allowing you to position your mission within the overall flow of the construction site. This anticipation reduces time loss, avoids duplicates or scheduling conflicts, and enhances your image as a reliable and organized professional.

Materials and techniques in constant evolution

The tiling sector is continuously evolving. Tilers must now master increasingly technical materials: large format tiles (120×120 cm or larger), epoxy joints, herringbone installation, or specific adhesives for underfloor heating.

Thanks to ArtiBox, you can showcase your specific expertise directly in your profile. This allows you to stand out to demanding contractors looking for partners capable of managing complex technical situations.

ArtiBox simplifies your daily routine by offering construction sites already described in detail. You have access from the first reading to:
